In Loving Memory of Billy F. Watson

Billy F. Watson, son of the late Triss Van Watson and Pearlie Francis Virginia Jeanette Lane Watson Mason, was born in Bloomfield, Missouri on September 1, 1946 and departed this life in the ER Room of Southeast Health Center of Stoddard County, Dexter, Missouri on September 7, 2016 at the age of 70.
 
Mr. Watson had worked for the City of Bernie until his retirement.  He was of Baptist faith.
 
He was united in marriage to Mary Marie Bowman in Zalma, Missouri on December 1, 1979.   Mrs. Watson survives in their home in Bernie.
 
Other survivors include four sons, Mike Watson of Odessa, Missouri, Billy A. Watson of Qulin, Missouri, Charles Jackson of Bloomfield, Missouri and Jamie Watson of Qulin, Missouri; by two daughters, Michelle “Missy” Jackson of Qulin, Missouri and Renee Stafford of Farmington, Missouri; by four brothers, Jackie Watson of Hannibal, Missouri, Bob Watson of Barnhart, Missouri, Jerry Watson of O’Fallon, Missouri and Gary Watson of Oakland City, Indiana; by two sisters, Juanita Lamunion of Bernie, Missouri and Beautone Watson of Rogers, Arkansas; by 20 Grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; also by other relatives and friends.
 
He was preceded in death other than by his parents, by four brothers, Everett Watson, Pete Watson, Jim Watson and Chester Watson in infancy; also by one sister, Colleen Watson in infancy.
 
A Memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 10, 2016 at 12:00 Noon at Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Bernie, Missouri.

Rev. Ron Dawson will be officiating.  Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home of Bernie in charge of all arrangements.
 
In Lieu of flowers, the Family request that memorials be made to the Cancer Society.

In Loving Memory of Larry Kitchens

Larry Kitchens, son of Billy Joe and Joyce Erlene Allstun Kitchens was born September 24, 1965 in Poplar Bluff, Missouri and departed this life on September 6, 2016 at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, Missouri at the age of 50.

Mr. Kitchen was an employee at Stoddard County Sheltered Workshop in Dexter, Missouri from 1982 to 2016, a  1984 graduate from Dexter High School, and a lifelong resident of Dexter. Larry loved the St. Louis Cardinals and was a big supporter of the Dexter Bearcats.  He also enjoyed watching his nieces play volleyball for the Dexter Bearcats and attending the Dexter Church of Christ.

Besides his parents, he is survived by his twin brother Terry Ray Kitchens of Dexter, Missouri; sister Regina Brown and Husband Johnny of Dexter, Missouri; grandfather Lorn B. Allstun of Dexter, Missouri; by 3 nieces, Nikki Brown and husband Kevin of Fort Hood, Texas, Ashley Brown and Brittany Brown of Dexter; three great-nieces, Gabby Brown, Brandie Brown and Madi Brown all of Fort Hood, Texas; by his aunts and uncles, Marla and Richard Bailey of Dexter, Charles and Pauline McBride also of Dexter; aunt, Barbara Stroup of Bloomfield, Missouri; also by many cousins and close friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Charles and Norma McBride, Marie Allstun and Hughey Kitchens.

Friends may call at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter from 5:00 until 8:00 P.M. Thursday, September 8, 2016. 

Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, September 9, 2016 at  1:00 P.M. in the Dexter Church of Christ with Clyde Jacques officiating.

In Loving Memory of Janet Wancel

Janet Sue Vinson Wancel, daughter of the late W. R. Vinson and Mary Taylor Vinson was born on June 26, 1944 at Essex and departed this life in the Barnes-Jewish Hospital at St. Louis on September 4, 2016 at the age of 72.

Mrs. Wancel was employed in the Fashion and Modeling Industry in New York, Boston and St. Louis.  She was a resident of Kirkwood.

She was united in marriage to Alberto Wancel on December 28, 1971 at New York, New York.  Mr. Wancel survives of the home in Kirkwood.

She is also survived by one brother, Joe Vinson of Dexter: by two sisters, Marian Emerson of Centerville and Carol Ann Dubrouillet of Essex.

Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 A.M., Thursday, September 8, 2016 at the Essex Cemetery with Rev. Roy Sherfield officiating.

Weston Lynn Crider, son of Alex Lynn Crider and Hailey Elizabeth Laws was born on March 25, 2015 and departed this life on Friday September 2, 2016 at the age of 1.

He is survived by his father, Alex Lynn Crider of Bloomfield; by his maternal grandmother and step-grandfather, Sandra and Travis Williamson of Essex; by his maternal grandfather and step grandmother, Clarence Jr. and Tonya Laws of Sikeston; by his paternal grandmother and step-grandfather Trae and Dixie Mitten of Jackson; and his paternal grandfather and step-grandmother, Tray and Kristi Crider of Sikeston.    

Weston and his mother, Hailey Elizabeth Laws perished in an accident on Friday, September 2, 2016..

Friends may call at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter on Tuesday, September 6, 2016 from 11:00 A. M. until 1:00 P. M. 

Funeral services will then be conducted on Tuesday, September 6, 2016 at 1:00 P. M. with Rev. James Malloy officiating. 

Interment will follow in the Essex Cemetery.

Maura Nicole Peters, daughter of John Peters and Kristina Edwards was born on November 25, 1996 in Poplar Bluff, Missouri and departed this life on Friday, September 2, 2016 at the age of 19.    

Maura was a student at Cape Girardeau Career and Technology Center and a home-maker.

She is survived by her finance Dalton Matthew Umfleet, Dexter, Missour; mother Kristina Edwards of Poplar Bluff, Missouri; father, John Peters of Poplar Bluff, Missouri; her brother, Cameron Edwards of Dexter; one sister, Rivers Robbie Ann Peters; by grandparents, Gene and Susan Gaines, Mike and Lauretta Edwards, and Ron and Karen Peters; great grandmother, Willa Gardner; by seven aunts, Katrina Edwards, Shelly Trout, Mystie Tankersley, Sarah Sanduskey, Vicki Peters, Leslie Peters, and Gina Gaines; also by other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by great-grandmother, Dorthy Edwards and great-grandfather, Robert L. Edwards.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 7, 2016 from 11:00 until 1:00 P.M. at the Light House Christian Center in Dexter. 

Funeral services will then be conducted on Tuesday, September 7, 2016 at 1:00 P.M. in the Light House Christian Center with Rev. Tim Russell officiating. 

Interment will follow in the Walker Cemetery near Bloomfield, Missouri.
