
Kevin Wade Craft, son of Wanda Shirlene King Craft and the late Jerry Lee Craft, was born in Enid, Oklahoma on October 27, 1964 and departed this life in Barnes Jewish Hospital, St. Louis, Missouri on May 7, 2025 at the age of 60.
Mr. Craft served in The United States Army for 10 years. He was a heavy machine specialist, which included tanks and trucks. He was a member of the Rakkasans 187th Airborne Regimental Combat Team Association, had completed training of the 101st Airborne Division, The Air Assault School and also other numerous awards through his time served. Later he was a truck driver, both over the road and locally. He was a resident of Bernie.
He was united in marriage to Tracy Helen Wheeler in Poplar Bluff, Missouri on April 28, 2018. Mrs. Craft survives for their home in Bernie.
Other survivors include his mother, Shirlene Craft of Bernie, Missouri; two step-sons, Gannon Terrill and Conner Terrill both of Poplar Bluff, Missouri; by two daughters, Kristan Craft and Kassie Craft both of Dexter, Missouri; by one step-daughter, Nena Shanafelt & husband Eric of Dexter, Missouri; by his sister, Larinda Craft of Bernie, Missouri; also by other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father Jerry Lee Craft.
Graveside services will be conducted at Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield, Missouri on May 14, 2025 starting at 10:00 AM. With full military honors. Mathis Funeral Home of Bernie is assisting with arrangements.
