In Memory of Robert Lee Lindsay, Jr.
Robert Lee Lindsay, Jr., age 63, died Monday, October 16, 2017 at University of Illinois Hospital, Chicago. 

Robert was born on September 15, 1954 in Sterling the son of Robert and Elsie (Parker) Lindsay, Sr. He married Marjorie McKenna on January 3, 1989 in Clinton, Iowa. She died on October 16, 2015. Robert was employed and very active with the Prophetstown Middle School, retiring in 2016. 

Survivors include his step-mother, Louis Lindsay of Poplar Bluff, Mo.; four daughters, Rebecca (Korry) Tessen of Bettendorf, Iowa, Mary Bryan of Tampico, Jennifer (Frank) Spooner and Cathy (Eric) Arduini both of Rock Falls; two sons, Alan Lindsay of Tampico and Tom (Valerie) Woodcock of Dawsonville, Ga.; three sisters, Mary Ann (Earl) Doss of Litchfield, Amanda (Travis) Toombs of Bloomfield, Mo. and Danelle Lindsay of Poplar Bluff, Mo.; one brother, Carlos (Jan) Mohundro of Milpitas, Calif.; eighteen grandchildren; two great grandchildren. 
He was preceded in death by his parents; two grandsons. 

A gathering of family and friends will be from 4:00 – 6:00 PM Friday, October 20, 2017 at the McDonald Funeral Home, Rock Falls. 

In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established.

In Memory of Camille McCain
Camille McCain, 16, of Poplar Bluff, passed away on Saturday, October 14, 2017 in Poplar Bluff.

She was born on July 11, 2001 to Shang and Tawana in Poplar Bluff, MO.

She was a Junior at Poplar Bluff High School.  Camille worked at McDonald’s in Poplar Bluff.  She played center field for the Poplar Bluff High School softball team and also played traveling softball for the Clearwater Lakers.  She loved hanging out with friends, watching TV, and listening to music.

Camille is survived by her parents, Tawana (Travis) Ashcraft and Shang (Jessica) McCain, all of Poplar Bluff; her four brothers, Rashawn McCain, Myanza McCain, Jaylon McPike, and Trevor Ashcraft all of Poplar Bluff; her grandparents, Ola Johnson of Qulin, MO, Steven Johnson of Pocahontas, AR, and Ruthie and Gary McCain, Sr. of Poplar Bluff, MO; five uncles, Steven (Mary Beth) Johnson, Gary McCain, Jr., Brent McCain, and Billie (Jasmeka) Duckett, and Anthony (Dustie) Curnutt all of Poplar Bluff, MO; and several other cousins.

She was preceded in death by her great-grandmothers, Bessie Perkins and Luttie Mae Johnson; and her great-uncle, Roger Lewis.

Visitation will be held Thursday, October 19, 2017 from 6 – 8:00 pm at Moore Funeral Service in Poplar Bluff.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 20, 2017 at 11:00 am in the Moore Funeral Service Chapel with Gary McCain, Sr and Pastor Sheldon Tyler officiating.  Burial will take place in the Poplar Bluff City Cemetery.

In Memory of Linda Schulz
Linda Schulz, 16, of Poplar Bluff passed away October 14, 2017 in Butler County Missouri.  Linda was born December 31,2000 in Poplar Bluff, to Jason Schulz and Athanasia (SIA) Kantzari-Clark.

She was a junior at Poplar Bluff High School.  A member of the Poplar Bluff High School Swim Team and was on student council.  She enjoyed spending time with her friends.

Linda is survived by her parents; Jason Schulz and SIA Clark ; step mother; Britney Schulz, grandparents; Linda Gioupis, Chris and Angela Kantzari, Thomas Moore, Wayne and Mary Ann Newman; great-grandparents; Dorothy Pettet, and Geraldine Cook; sister; Anna Grace Schulz and brother; Christopher Schulz.

Visitation will be 6pm Wednesday, October 18, 2017 at Fowler-Sullivan Funeral Home in Poplar Bluff.  The funeral service will be at 10am Thursday, Oct. 19,2017 in the funeral home chapel.  Burial will be at Ash Hill Cemetery.

In Memory of Cody Logan
Cody Logan, 14, of Poplar Bluff, passed away on Sunday, October 15, 2017 in Poplar Bluff.

He was born on January 8, 2003 to Larry Logan and Rebecca Lanham in St. Louis, MO.

He was a Freshman at Poplar Bluff High School.  Cody loved skating at the Poplar Bluff Skate Park downtown and hanging out with his best friends, Martez Janis and Romeiro Coleman.  He was a member of the Poplar Bluff Mules basketball program.

Cody is survived by his parents; one brother, Anthony Logan of Poplar Bluff, MO; his grandmother, Catherine Taylor of Fenton, MO; his grandfather, David Logan of St. Louis, MO; four uncles, Richard Logan, Ricky Logan, Jackie Logan all of St. Louis, MO, and Steve Logan of Memphis, TN; one aunt, Angie Lanham of Fenton, MO; two cousins, Melanie Word and Kaden Wallace both of Fenton, MO; and several other aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Visitation will be held Saturday, October 21, 2017 from 2 – 4:00 pm at Moore Funeral Service in Poplar Bluff, MO.

Funeral services will be held immediately following visitation at 4:00 pm in the Moore Funeral Service Chapel with Pastor Sheldon Tyler officiating.

In Memory of Helen K. Palmer
Helen K. Palmer (nee Dodd) passed away peacefully at Joliet Area Community Hospice Home, Thursday, October 12, 2017 at the age of 78 years.
Survived by her son Richard (Susan) Ollis and daughter Debbie (Alan) Braun.  Her step-children Ken (Carol) Palmer and Tom (Marilyn) Palmer.  Six step-grandchildren Betsy, Margo, John, Brian, Michael and Christy. Two brothers Robert and Phil (Marie) Dodd.  

Preceded in death by her first husband Donald M. Ollis (1996) and her second husband Kenneth F. Palmer (2009).  A brother John A. Dodd, Jr. (2017) and a sister Patsy.  

Helen was born February 26, 1939 in Cairo, Illinois to John Anderson and Clara Mae (nee Tudor) Dodd.  

She was raised in Olive Branch, Illinois.  

Helen retired from Heinemann Bakery and was formerly the Midwest Distribution Representative for Handelman Record Co.

Member and past state and national recorder of the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR), Daughters of the Union and American Genealogy Society.  

Helen was a teacher of Genealogy at Joliet Junior College.
