In Memory of Dale Ray Pixley II

Dale Ray Pixley II, son of Rose Martin Pixley and the late Dale Ray Pixley, was born on September 28, 1965 in Bellflower, California, and departed this life on September 15, 2020 at Southeast Health of Stoddard County in Dexter, Missouri, at the age of 54 years.

Mr. Pixley was the owner of Ray Pixley Auto Body Shop in Dexter.  He was a former Alderman for Dexter Ward 3 and a resident of Dexter.  He enjoyed watching football and was a fan of the Kansas City Chiefs.  He loved to drag race, and work on cars at his shop.  He was an avid fan of NHRA.

He was united in marriage to Ginger Davis on September 1, 1990 in Dexter, Missouri.

He is survived by his wife, Ginger Pixley of Dexter; by his mother, Rose Pixley of Cape Girardeau; by his son, Keenan Ray Pixley of Dexter; by his daughter, Autumn Elaine Pixley of Dexter; by two grandchildren, Carter Jackson and Gray Robinson; by four brothers, Arlen Pixley of New Madrid, Garett Pixley, Tony Pixley and Aaron Pixley, all of Dexter; by ten sisters, Mary Pixley of Advance, Dana Fulbright of Marble Hill, Tina Coggins of Advance, Sara McCain of Advance, Audra Pixley of Cape Girardeau, Lela Dunn of Vienna, Illinois, Lana Pixley of Dexter, Anna Abernathy of Advance, Vicky Pixley of Advance and Carrie McAllister of Cape Girardeau; by his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Rick and Sharon Lawson of Dexter; and by sixty nieces and nephews and thirty-eight great nieces and nephews.

Other than by his father, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Adam Pixley and Andy Pixley; by one sister, Paula LeRay; and by one great-niece.

Visitation will be held at Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter on Friday, September 18, 2020 from 11:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m.   

Funeral services will then be conducted in the Mathis Funeral Chapel on Friday, September 18, 2020 at 1:30 p.m. 

Interment will follow in the Dexter Cemetery.

Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter is in charge of all arrangements.
