
Lorn B. Allstun, son of the late Thomas Allstun and Carrie Tracer Allstun, was born on February 20, 1923 in Frisco, Missouri and departed this life on December 16, 2020 at his residence in Dexter, Missouri, at the age of 97 years.
Mr. Allstun was a Veteran of the United States Army, 9th Division, serving in World War II and fighting in the Battle of the Bulge and at the Rhine River. For his military service, he received two purple hearts and a marksmanship commendation for rifles and hand grenades. After leaving the Army, he owned a concrete construction company, he was a farmer, and he was a member of the Dexter Church of Christ.
In 1940, he was first united in marriage to Marie Williams. Mrs. Marie Allstun preceded him in death on January 20, 1989. On July 13, 1990, he was then united in marriage to Ada Middleton. Mrs. Ada Allstun preceded him in death on April 4, 2013.
He is survived by two daughters, Joyce Kitchens and husband Bill of Dexter and Barbara Stroup of Bloomfield; by three grandchildren, Brady Ryan Stroup, Regina Brown and husband Johnny, and Terry Kitchens; by six great-grandchildren, Nikki Brown and husband Kevin, Ashley Brown and fiancé Tyler Cummins, Brittany Vaughan and husband Chase, Josh Horn, Ryann Marie Stroup, and Auttum Jean Stroup; by five great-great grandchildren, Gabby Brown, Brandie Brown, Madi Brown, Cooper Vaughan, and Kayleen Horn.
Besides his wives and parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Walter Allstun, Charlie Allstun, and Arthur Allstun; by seven sisters, Bessie Shipman, Edith Guest, Pansy Vaughn, Lily Fortner, Lucy Harrison, Alice Abbott, and Ruth Larsen; and by his grandson, Larry Kitchens.
Visitation will be held at Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter on Monday, December 21, 2020 from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Funeral services will then be conducted in the Mathis Funeral Chapel on Monday, December 21, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. with Herman Morse officiating. Interment will follow in Dexter Cemetery.

Ronnie Wayne Prough, son of Clay Prough of Dexter, Missouri and the late Dixie Lou Forslund Prough, was born on June 7, 1960 in Alhambra, California, and departed this life on December 15, 2020, at St. Clair Hospital in Fenton, Missouri, at the age of 60 years.
Mr. Prough previously worked as a night-time supervisor for the Kitty Litter Plant in Bloomfield, Missouri, and he was a resident of Dexter, Missouri.
In addition to his dad, Clay, he is survived by his three sisters, Nickki Prough of Dexter, Missouri, Sandy Keeling of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, and Marilyn Borden of Dexter, Missouri.
Visitation will be held at Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter on Sunday, December 20, 2020 from 12:30 p.m. until 1:30 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted in the Mathis Funeral Chapel on Sunday, December 20, 2020 at 1:30 p.m. with Rev. Justin Sponaugle officiating. Interment will follow in the Sadler Chapel Cemetery.

Tim Wayne King passed away peacefully at his home on Friday November 27th, 2020 in Cape Girardeau, MO at the age of 56.
He was born December 28th, 1963, in Sikeston, MO to Larry and Gail (Goza) King. On June 4th, 2011, he was united in marriage to Sherry (Fitzpatrick) King. Mrs.King survives of their home in Cape. In addition to his wife, he is also survived by one daughter, Amanda Gail King of Essex, MO; one granddaughter, Kyndall Gail Evans of Essex, MO; his father, Larry King of Kelso, MO; brother Andy (Jennifer) King of Cape Girardeau, MO; brother Brian King of Austin, TX.
He was preceded in death by his mother Gail and sister Kimberly.
Tim was a 1982 Richland R-1 graduate. He attended Mizzou and returned home to work on the family farm in Gray Ridge. He later was employed by Nestle Purina followed by Teen Challenge.
Tim was an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed all sports.
A memorial service will be held at Harvest Assembly Church in Essex on December, 26th at 11:00 A.M.

Angie Smith, daughter of the late Wallace Clay Mansker and Edna Faye Caulley, was born May 21, 1943, in Dexter, Missouri, and departed this life on December 15, 2020, at Southeast Health of Stoddard County in Dexter, Missouri, at the age of 77 years.
Mrs. Smith previously worked as a customer service representative for Countywide Insurance in Dexter and was a member of the Church of Christ in Asherville, Missouri.
On March 30, 1962, in Dexter, Missouri, she was united in marriage to Ishmael Smith. Mr. Smith survives of their home in Dexter.
In addition to her husband, Ishmael, she is survived by three daughters, Carol Brittain and husband Lin of Huntsville, Alabama, Myra Jarrell and husband Philip of Smithville, Missouri, and Amy Cargo and husband Johnny of Huntsville, Alabama; by one brother, Alan Mansker of Tuscan, Arizona; by two sisters, Janice Britt of Searcy, Arkansas and Marsha Heim of Ashland City, Tennessee; and by nine grandchildren, Matthew Brittain, Hannah Kitchens, Molly Watson, Megan Woodward, Walker Jarrell, William Jarrell, Madeline Jarrell, Wyatt Jarrell, and Andrew Wickenhauser.
A private funeral service will be held at Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter on Friday, December 18, 2020. Interment will follow in Chalk Bluff Cemetery.

McIvan Jones was born April 27, 1941 in Dorena, Missouri, to the late Mack and Elois Doss Jones and departed this life on December 14, 2020 at his residence in East Prairie, Missouri, at the age of 79 years.
Mr. Jones was a lifelong farmer in Mississippi County and he also farmed in New Madrid County. He was an avid hunter and a member of Elm Street Baptist Church in Charleston, Missouri.
On July 27, 2001, he married Rebecca “Becky” Byassee, who survives of the home.
Other than his wife, McIvan is survived by four daughters, Misse Jones of Kennett, Missouri, Traci and Joe Turner of Strafford, Missouri, Lesli Jones of East Prairie, Missouri, and Samantha Jones of East Prairie, Missouri; by one son, Ivan Jones of East Prairie, Missouri; by nine grandchildren, Lydia Harrison, Elliot Wade, Claire Whitlock, Anna Turner, Mack Marcum, Luke Marcum, Evie Jones, Eli Merideth and Mya Merideth; by three great-grandchildren, Miller Harrison, Milo Harrison and William Whitlock; and by a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
McIvan was preceded in death by two sisters, Fern Hutchison and Doris Larkins.
A private family service will be held Wednesday at Elm Street Baptist Church in Charleston with Bro. Jon Archie officiating. The service will be live streamed at 1:00 p.m. from the Elm Street Baptist Church Facebook page. Burial will follow in the I.O.O.F Cemetery in Charleston.
Pallbearers will be Mack Marcum, Luke Marcum, Elliot Wade, Steve Jones, Jimmy Duke, Rush Oliver, Hoyt Carter and Brent Williams.
Honorary pallbearers will be Gary Dewitt, Wendy Carden, John D. Ray, Fylnn Ray, Gerald Dewitt, Charles Byassee, Bonnie Williams and Terry Cole.
