Dimple McWaters Malloy, daughter of the late William L. and Nora Colston McWaters, was born on November 25, 1936, and departed this life at Mulberry Manor in Dexter, Missouri on July 15, 2022, at the age of eighty-five years.
On April 18, 1953, at Morehouse, Missouri, she was united in marriage to Harold “Quinton” Malloy, Sr. He preceded her in death on November 13, 1994.
Besides her parents and husband, Dimple was preceded in death by her son “Harold” Quinton, Jr.; daughter Treasa; brothers Claud, Bert, Don, W.C., Hershel, Ollie, and Herman; and sisters Audrey, Areda, Mamie, Polly, and Emma.
She is survived by her son, Charles and his wife Lori of Essex, and by many relatives, friends, and colleagues.
Dimple earned her bachelor and master’s degrees from Southeast Missouri State University and taught elementary education for more than twenty-five years in the Winona, Richland, Malden, and Sikeston school systems. She was active in the local and district CTA and MSTA holding offices in both organizations and served as President of the Southeast District Teachers Association.
Soon after retiring from school teaching, Dimple accepted the opportunity to develop a reading program for the inmates at the Southeast Correctional Center in Charleston, Missouri. She taught at the Charleston facility for several years and then transferred to the Eastern Reception, Diagnostic, and Correctional Center in Bonne Terre, Missouri from which she retired after teaching for a couple of years.
Dimple was very active in the ladies’ auxiliaries of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, the American Legion and the Veterans of Foreign Wars participating in service projects and providing leadership by holding multiple offices.
Dimple was an avid quilter. She enjoyed growing tomatoes for her family and tending to her red and pink rose bushes. She was a devoted Buick owner who drove countless miles through the years attending professional and organizational meetings and taking family and personal trips.
Visitation will be held at Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter on Friday, July 22, 2022, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Graveside services will then be conducted at Old Essex Cemetery on Saturday, July 23, 2022, at 10:30 a.m.

Brian Scott Crawford, 51, of Dexter, Missouri passed away July 13, 1970. Brian was born July 17, 1970, in Jonesboro, Arkansas, a son to the late Phyllis Crawford Lyle.
Brian received his MBA from the University of Mississippi and received 2 bachelor's degree in arts and Master of Interior Design from Arkansas State University. He was a former business owner, artist, and interior decorator.
In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his stepfather, Bennie Lyle; grandparents, Joe Harold Crawford and Opal Crawford. Aunts and uncles, Bobby Crawford, Jimmy Crawford, Dewayne Crawford and David Crawford, Billy Lyle and Bobby Lyle and Coyse Barton.
Those left to cherish his memory are, his fiancé David Wynn, sister and brother-in-law Brooke Nicole and Lenny Ray Becker, stepchildren Alexandra Hampton Diebold, Tres Hampton, and Gracen Hampton, and nieces and nephews, Trevor Lyle, Makaela Henry, Hunter Becker, Kelly Becker and Harley Becker.

Phyllis Williams, daughter of the late Radius Wilkison and Chloe Lemons Wilkison, was born on September 5, 1941, in Acorn Ridge, Missouri, and departed this life on July 17, 2022, at Westwood Hills Health and Rehabilitation Center in Poplar Bluff, Missouri, at the age of 80 years.
Mrs. Williams was a former loan officer for Southern Missouri Savings in Dexter, Missouri. She was a member of Friendship Baptist Church in Dexter.
On April 5, 1962, in Caldwell, Missouri, she was united in marriage to Charles Lynn Williams. Mr. Williams preceded her in death on April 26, 2018
She is survived by two sons, Shane Williams and wife Margaret of Mountain Home, Arkansas, and David Williams and wife Kathy of Poplar Bluff, Missouri; by her brother, Lanny Wilkison of Bloomfield, Missouri; by seven grandchildren, Katelyn Carpenter, Darcie Williams, Morgan Williams, Zach Williams, Reagan Williams, Ryleigh Williams, and Henry Williams; and by her great-granddaughter, Aleigha Williams
Other than by her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Larry Wilkison, and by her sister, Sherre Culbertson.
Visitation will be held at Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter on Tuesday, July 19, 2022, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
Funeral services will then be conducted in the Mathis Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, July 20, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Lonny Mittag officiating.
Interment will follow in the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield.

Margaret Robinson of New Madrid, Missouri, daughter of the late Felix Rowe and Frankie (Richardson) Rowe born on November 30,1928 in Searcy, Arkansas passed from this life on July 14, 2022 in New Madrid, Missouri at the age of 93.
She lived in the Southeast Missouri area most of his life, where she worked in the hospitality industry. Margaret enjoyed working with and solving word puzzles.
Margaret was of the Baptist faith.
Margaret married Joe Robinson in Parma, Missouri in 1966 and remained married until his passing in July of 2007.
She is survived by one son Roy Chester Rowe of Wynne, Arkansas; two daughters Annie Ruth Hollowell of Las Vegas, Nevada; Mary Louise Rowe of Bethany, Oklahoma; one brother Kenneth (Ostell) Rowe of Rochester, Minnesota; twelve grand children and one great grandchild on the way. A host of family and friends also survive.
She was proceeded in death by her parents, her husband, one daughter Regina Renee Rowe; two brothers Charles and Rosevelt Rowe; two sisters Pearlie Mae Williams and Allie Lee (Sugar) Anderson.

Janet Lee Ogelvie, daughter of the late Leroy Whitehead and Leona Bailey Whitehead was born on December 15, 1941 in Pyletown, Missouri and departed this life on July 16, 2022 at the SoutheastHealth of Stoddard County at the age of 80.
Mrs. Ogelvie was a member of the Sugar Tree General Baptist Church in Bernie. She was a home-maker and resident of Bernie. She enjoyed getting out, going to yard sales, and loved fishing and camping.
On September 19, 1964 she was united in marriage to Louis Ogelvie Sr. in Flint, Michigan. Mr. Ogelvie survives of their residence in Bernie.
Other than by her husband, she is survived by one son, Louis Ogelvie Jr. and his wife, Jennifer of Broseley, Missouri; by three daughters, Janet and husband Donnie Layton of Dexter, Missouri, Linda and husband Steve Fitzpatrick of Dexter, Missouri and Tammy Ogelvie of Bernie, Missouri; by one brother, Terry Whitehead of Linden, Michigan; by one sister, Sandra Farrell of Bull Head City, Arizona; by eleven grandchildren, Sandra Ogelvie, Seth Ogelvie, Gracie Ogelvie, Suzanna Ogelvie, Rebecca Ogelvie, Samantha Ogelvie, Erica Conner and companion Nicholas Hufford, Alex Fitzpatrick, Tyler Layton and wife Victoria, Whitney Lane, and Michael Layton; and by six great-grandchildren, Christian Lane, Harper Mason, Calvin Lane, Grayson Lane, Amelia Dormer and baby Bodhi Mikel Hufford who is on the way.
Other than by her parents she was preceded in death by her son, Michael Louis Ogelvie; by her brother in infancy, Michael Lee Whitehead; by two sisters, Pat Stanley and Carolyn Whitehead in infancy.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 19, 2022 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Mathis Funeral Chapel in Bernie, Missouri.
Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, July 20, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. in the Mathis Funeral Chapel in Bernie with Brother David Gargus officiating.
Interment will follow at the Smith Stevenson Cemetery.
