Peggy L. Crews Nevels, daughter of the late Herschel and Naomi M. Gilbow Crews, was born in Wardell, Missouri on July 27, 1944, and departed this life on December 25, 2024, in Bloomfield, Missouri at the age of 80 years.

She is survived by her daughter, Mica Kim Myrick and her fiancée Cary Hathaway of Bloomfield, Missouri; by two grandchildren, Levi and Trinity; by three great-grandchildren, Ivan, Jameson and Brinley; by four sisters, Dollie Jane Townsend of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, Ginny Crews Brown of Memphis, Tennessee, Becky Beard of Dexter, Missouri and Mary Jane Jenkins (Jerry) of Dexter, Missouri; and by two brothers, Don Crews of Dexter, Missouri and Herschel Crews (Jean) of Poplar Bluff, Missouri.

Other than by her parents, she was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Chelsea Jackson; by her sister, Doris Crews Chase; and by her brother, David Crews.

A private family service will be held at a later date.
