
The 2017 Class 2, District 1 boys and girls basketball tournament seedings have been released.
The tournaments are scheduled to take place on Saturday, February 18th, Tuesday, February 21st, and Thursday, February 23rd at South Pemiscot High School.

3:30 p.m. Hayti vs Holcomb
5:00 p.m. Bernie vs Senath-Hornersville
6:30 p.m. Bloomfield vs South Pemiscot
Tuesday, February 21st
5:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. semifinals
Thursday, February 23rd at 7:30 will be the Championship game for Class 2, District 1 boys basketball.

#1 Puxico, #2 Senath-Hornersville, #3 Hayti, #4 Campbell, #5 South Pemiscot, and #6 Bloomfield.
Puxico and Senath-Hornersville have received a bye for the first round quarterfinals.
Saturday, February 18th
11:00 a.m. Hayti vs Bloomfield
2:00 p.m. Campbell vs South Pemiscot
Tuesday, February 21st
Puxico vs the winner of the Campbell/South Pemiscot game will play at 4:00 p.m.
Senath-Hornersville vs the winner of the Hayti/Bloomfield game will play at 7:00 p.m.
Championship game will be played at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 23rd.

Dexter, Missouri - The ShowMe Times Dexter Sports Spotlight shines on Maci Daniels.
Maci is a Dexter Bearcat Basketball Cheerleader and is a junior at the Dexter High School.
She is the daughter of John and Lori Daniels.
She has been active in Sr. Beta one year, Student Council three years, and Future Teachers of America one year.
Maci is in Top Ten Percent, National Honors Society and has participated in volleyball and basketball cheerleading.
Her future plans are to attend college.
She enjoys hanging out with her friends.
She is a member of Fellowship of Christian Athletes.

Dexter, Missouri - The ShowMe Times Dexter Sports Spotlight shines on Angel Maze.
Angel is on the Kickin' Cats Dance Team and is a senior at the Dexter High School.
Her grandparents are Sue and Roy Absher.
Maze has been active in Sr. Beta one year, DECA one year, Dexter Honors Society, National Honors Society, Honors Choir for four years, and Teens Against Smoking Coalition for two years.
She lettered in varsity dance twice.
Her future plans are to attend college and she is undecided on her major.
She enjoys singing, acting, and dancing.

Rhylan is a Dexter Bearcat Basketball Cheerleader and is a junior at the Dexter High School.
She is the daughter of Darren and Tory Hillis. Her grandparents are Ron and Jo Bloemer, Bruce and Lynn Hillis, and Gladys Hillis.
Hillis has been active in Student Council for three years, Future Business Leaders of America for one year, Honors Choir for three years, Future Teachers of America for one year, and Sr. Beta for one year.
She has been a member of the Top Ten Percent for two years and made All-American Cheerleader once and All-Country Individual Cheerleader twice.
Her future plans are to attend the University of Missouri or Ole Miss.
She enjoys swimming and tumbling.
She has participated in varsity football and basketball cheerleading, volleyball, and track.
Outside of Dexter Schools she has done Club Volleyball and Gymnastic Tumble.
She attends First Baptist Church and is a member of Fellowship of Christian Athletes.

She is the daughter of Richard and Amy Ash. Her grandparents are Doug and Cathy Sturgeon and Lynn and Jackie Ash.
Ash has been active in Student Council for one year, Dexter Honor Society and National Honors Society, DECA for one year, and FCCLA for one year.
She is a dental assistant at Dr. Kane's and is in the Smiles of Hope Organization.
Kelly has lettered in varsity basketball cheerleading, varsity football cheerleading, and dance.
Her future plans are to pursue a career in dentistry.
She enjoys dental assisting, playing golf, and anything to do with animals.
