Bearcats Perform Well at Doniphan Jamboree

Doniphan, Missouri - The Doniphan Dons hosted a boys basketball Jamboree on Tuesday evening.  Coach Chad Allen debuted as the new boys basketball coach switching over from the Lady Bearcats this season.

He rotated the squad throughout each contest featuring two seniors, seven juniors, one sophomore and one freshman.

"Overall, I thought it was a good jamboree for us against some competitive teams," commented head boys basketball coach Chad Allen.  "It gives us a good idea on what we need to work on over the next few weeks before the regular season starts."

The Bearcats played overall pretty well in the contests. and should bring a lot of  great action to the Bearcat Event Center this season.

The Jamboree was a very physical match-up with all teams participating.

They split with the West Plains Zizzers then dropped two to the Lesterville Bearcats and won both games against the Doniphan Dons for a record of 3 and 3.
