The 2025 Dexter High School golf team kicked off their season at the Notre Dame Invitational at Dalhousie on Tuesday, March 25th.

The Bearcats finished fourth out of twelve teams.

Ben Christian tied for 3rd with a 75 earning a medal.

Tucker Temples was just short of a medal with an 86.

Will Guethle, Drake Carmode and Brenner Orton rounded out the squad.

"It was a great day for golf," commented Shawn Guethle, head coach. "Especially comparedto last year's event. I am looking forward to a great year for the Bearcats."

The golf team will open at home on Wednesday, March 26th at Hidden Trails Golf Course at 4 p.m.

Casen Terry of Dexter, Missouri won first place at the 12U Missouri State Wrestling Championship held in Springfield, Missouri on March 9, 2025..

Casen also won the State Championship in 2023.

He is the son of Matthew and Cassie Terry and is a 7th grade student at T.S. Hill Middle School.

The 2025 Class 4, District 1 Girls Basketball Tournament seeds and bracket released.

Doniphan earned the #1 seed followed by #2 Fredericktown, #3 Dexter, #4 Kennett, and #5 Saxony Lutheran.

Kennett will play Saxony Lutheran on Tuesday, March 4th at 6 p.m.

Doniphan will play the winner of that game on Thursday, March 6th at 6 p.m.

Fredericktown will play Dexter on Thursday, March 6th at 7:30 p.m.

Championship game is on Saturday, March 8th at 2 p.m.

All games will be played at Kennett High School.

The 2025 Class 4, District 1 Boys Basketball Tournament seeds and bracket were released and the games begin Monday, March 3, 2025.

Notre Dame earned the #1 seed followed by #2 Dexter, #3 Kennett, #4 Fredericktown, #5 Doniphan, and #6 Perryville.

Notre Dame and Dexter will begin play on Wednesday March 5th.

#4 Fredericktown will face #5 Doniphan at 5 p.m. Monday, March 3rd at Fredericktown High School.

#3 Kennett will play #6 Perryville at 6:30 p.m. Monday, March 3rd following the Fredericktown/Doniphan game.

Notre Dame will play the winner of the Fredericktown/Doniphan game at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, March 5th.

Dexter will play the winner of the Kennett/Perryville game at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, March 5th.

Championship game will be Friday, March 7 at 6 p.m.

The 2025 Class 2, District 3 Girls Basketball Tournament seeds have been announced and the bracket is set!

All games will be played at Chaffee High School.

St. Vincent earned the #1 seed followed by #2 Chaffee, #3 Meadow Heights, #4 Puxico, and #5 Charleston.

St. Vincent earned a bye in the first round.

On Tuesday, February 25th Puxico plays Charleston at 6 p.m.  St. Vincent will play the winner of that game on Thursday, February 27th at 6 p.m.

Chaffee will play Meadow Heights on Thursday, February 27th at 7:30 p.m.

Championship will be Saturday, March 1st at 1:30 p.m. at the Chaffee High School.
