
Dexter, Missouri - The ninth candidate of the evening for the 2017 Miss DHS was senior, Megan Trout.
Meg is the daughter of Hank and Renee Trout.
Her activities include varsity volleyball, varsity basketball, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Future Business Leaders of America, Future Teachers of America, Student Council, Sr. Beta Club, and Pep Club.
Her future plans are to attend Murray State University and major in biology. She then plans to go to nursing school and become a Pediatric Nurse.
She was escorted by Joe Rice.
Joe is the son of Loyd and Heather Rice.
When asked what three words describe Megan, Joe replied, "Smart, Beautiful, and Athletic."


Dexter, Missouri - The seventh candidate of the evening for the 2017 Miss DHS was senior, Riley Thornton.
Riley is the daughter of Monica Thornton and Dennis Thornton.
Her activities include girls' tennis team, women's choir, Sr. Beta Club, FCCLA, and the Drama, Speech, and Debate Team.
Riley's future plans are to attend college at Southeast Missouri State University to major in acting with a minor in broadcasting!
Riley was escorted by Greyson Stephens.
Greyson is the son of John and Joan Stephens.
Greyson's three words to describe Riley, "Kind, Smart, and Courteous."

Dexter, Missouri - The sixth candidate of the evening for the 2017 Miss DHS was senior, Nicole Sells.
Nicole is the daughter of Joe and Kate Sells.
Her activities include varsity girls' tennis, Sr. Beta Club, National Honor Society, Student Council, and Fellowship of Christian Athletes.
Her future plans are to graduate at the end of the semester and attend Cape Career & Technology Center in January 2018 for their PTA Program. After the two years she will transfer to another college to finish out the Physical Therapy Program.
Nicole was escorted by Carson Bell.
Carson is the son of Christian Bell and Gina Bell.
Carson's three words to describe Nicole are, "Kind, Talented, and Beautiful!"

Dexter, Missouri - The fifth candidate of the evening for the 2017 Miss DHS was senior, Amber Scott.
Amber is the daughter of Deny and Sharon Scott.
Her activities include Future Business Leaders of America, FCCLA, National Honor Society, Sr. Beta Club, Marching Band, Scholar Bowl Team, and the Kickin' Cats Dance Team.
Her future plans are to attend Loyola University in Chicago. She is majoring in entrepreneurship and wants to create a business of her own.
She was escorted by Jordan Adams.
Jordan is the son of Jody and Becky Adams.
He described Amber as, "Beautiful, Intelligent, and Kind."
