
Dexter CTA Retirement Tea will be held on Tuesday, April 18th at 4:00 p.m. in the Bearcat Event Center lobby.
Punch, cookies, and cake will be served.

The Bloomfield School Board met on Tuesday, April 11, 2023. They had second grade students attend to present their famous people projects - those students did a fantastic job!!
The board then swore in the 3 newly elected board members: Cecil Haley, Juston Jarrell, and Greg Stevens. The board elected officers as follows: Brad Warner, board president; Cecil Haley, board vice president; David Clary, board treasurer; and Justin Bell, board secretary.
During open session, the board:
1. approved May 8th, starting at 11 am, for the board budget work session and the May board meeting to follow the conclusion of the work session;
2. approved the calendar amendment for the 2023-2024 school year
3. discussed rebidding the ag shop extension
4. discussed summer projects
During executive session, the board:
1. Approve Substitution List;
2. Accept the resignations of Katie Stewart, Justin Hancock, Ashley Bien, and Jacob McNeil effective at the end of the 2022-23;
3. Hire Brodie Moore as High School Social Studies for the 2023-2024;
4. Hire Michaela Sindle as an Elementary Teacher for the 2023-2024;
5. Hire Ben Sindle as an PE/ISS Teacher for the 2023-2024;
6. Hire Tina Jarrell as Elementary Teacher for the 2023-2024;
7. Hire Aunna James as Elementary Refocus Teacher for the 2023-2024;
8. Hire/Retain Non Certified Staff for 2023-2024
