2023 DHS Fall Senior Night Featuring Kiara Terry

Dexter High School honored their fall athletes at Senior Night at Charles Bland Stadium on Friday, October 20th prior to the kick-off between the Dexter Bearcats and the Malden Green Wave.

Kiara Terry is the daughter of Daniele Terry and Trent Bennett.

She is a four year member of the Bearcat Marching Band and is also involved in Future Business Leaders of America, National Honor Society, and National Sr. Beta Club.

Her future plans are to attend Southeast Missouri State University - Cape Girardeau to study Early Childhood Education.

Kiara's favorite band memory is getting to have interesting conversations on the band bus when coming home from competitions.

DHS Tackle Cancer Raises Money for 18Fore Life
On October 20, the Dexter Bearcats won both on the field and off the field. Money raised during fundraising activities at DHS was added to our Touchdown Sponsor donations.
Dexter High School with their combined efforts, they were able to raise $2,300 for 18 Fore Life.

This money will go to those who receive a cancer diagnosis to help them in their fight to TACKLE CANCER!
The Varsity football cheerleaders and players would like to thank our generous sponsors for making this event possible! Thank you to Keith Richard with Brem Insurance, Aaron Mathis with Mathis Funeral Homes, and TJ Scott with WW Wood Products.

2023 Bloomfield Blossom Parade, Dance and Mr. and Miss BHS

Bloomfield High School will have a Blossom Parade on Friday, October 6, 2023.  The parade will be at 2 p.m. on Friday with Mr. and Miss. BHS ceremony to follow the parade.  The Dance will be on Saturday.

Jaelyn Jarrell will be escorted by Trenton Cullum.  

Chelsey Chism will be escorted by Ben Stevens.  

Scarlett Goodin will be escorted by Lucas Dowdy.

Lauren Davis will be escorted by Ayden Hutchison.

Aubrey Hull will be escorted by Nick DeBeaux.

The parade route: cars will be lined up along Court Street (by the baseball field) to West Seneca St. then turn right onto Salem St. (that's the street right before Prairie St.) then a right on Center St. and finished with a right onto Delaware Street (behind the high school).

Parade participants will park in the back parking lot and then walk to the ceremony.

Parents and community members need to enter the gym via the tunnel and sit along the floor bleachers.

The Mr. and Miss BHS Ceremony will begin after the parade.  They will give a few minutes for the community to make their way to the gym.

The Bloomfield Blossom Dance will be in the high school gym on Saturday the 7th from 7 p.m. - 10 p.m.  This is a semi-formal event.

These events are sponsored by the Bloomfield High School Student Council.  They would like to create an atmosphere of community and school spirit.  Their hopes are to make this an annual event and a Wildcat tradition for many years to come.

2023 DHS Football Homecoming Candidates Announced

Dexter High School has announced their 2023 Fall Homecoming Candidates.  Homecoming will be held on Friday, September 29th with coronation set for 6:30 p.m. and kick-off at 7:00 p.m.  The annual Community Tailgate will be from 4:30 p.m.- 6:30 p.m. at the Arch at Charles Bland Stadium.
