2024 DHS Winter Homecoming Queen Returns to Crown New Queen

Dexter High School 2025 Winter Homecoming Queen Coronation was held on Friday, February 7, 2025 at the Bearcat Event Center.  The Dexter boys basketball team took on the Advance Hornets and captured the win.

The 2024 Winter Homecoming Queen, Marie Fees, was on hand to crown the new queen.  She is the daughter of Jim and Willa Fees.

Marie graduated from Dexter High School in May 2024 and is now attending the University of Tennessee - Knoxville and is majoring in Plant Science and minoring in sustainable landscape and design.

She is a member of the Alpha Omega Epsilon sorority, the Chancellor's Honors Program, the Volunteer-Lead-Serve Cohort, Collegiate 4H and Future Farmers of America, and the UT Plant Science Club.

After graduation she plans to use her degree to pursue a career in plant genetics research.  

Marie is escorted by Joseph Paisley.  he is a senior at Dexter High School and the son of Joseph Paisley and Aubrie Browning.  He is a member of the varsity football team.

When asked to describe Marie, Joseph said, "She is beautiful, funning, and caring!"

DHS 2025 Winter Homecoming Queen Candidate Featuring Febe Worley

Dexter High School 2025 Winter Homecoming Queen Coronation was held on Friday, February 7, 2025 at the Bearcat Event Center.  The Dexter boys basketball team took on the Advance Hornets and captured the win.

Febe Worley was nominated by the girls basketball team and is a senior at Dexter High School.

She is the daughter of Clete and Jill Worley.

Febe is a member of the varsity girls basketball and varsity girls tennis teams, Pep Club, FCCLA, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Yearbook Staff, HOSA, National Honor Society, and Sr. Beta Club.

After graduation, she plans to attend a 4-year university and go on to pursue a career in the medical field.

She is escorted by Brayden Vaughn.  He is a sophomore at DHS and is the son of Brandon and Christy Vaughn.

He is a member of the golf team and wrestling team.

When asked to describe Febe in a few words, he said, "She is funny, kind, and creative!"

DHS 2025 Winter Homecoming Queen Candidate Featuring Lauren Sindle

Lauren Sindle was nominated by the boys basketball team and is a junior at Dexter High School.  She is the daughter of Danny and Christy Sindle.

She is a member of FCCLA, Student Council, Sr. Beta Club, Pep Club, and both the varsity football and varsity basketball cheer squads.

After graduation from high school, Lauren plans to attend the University of Missouri - Columbia and major in business with plans to eventually obtain her real estate license. 

Lauren is escorted by Devin Turnbo.  Devin is a junior at Dexter High School and the son of Jason and Holly Turnbo. 

He is on the varsity football team and varsity basketball team.

When asked to describe Lauren, he said....at a loss for words.

DHS 2025 Winter Homecoming Queen Candidate Featuring Avery Riley

Dexter High School 2025 Winter Homecoming Queen Coronation was held on Friday, February 7, 2025 at the Bearcat Event Center.  The Dexter boys basketball team took on the Advance Hornets and captured the win.

Avery Riley is a senior at Dexter High School and was nominated by the boys basketball team.  She is the daughter of Andy and Natalie Riley.

She is a member of FCCLA, DECA, HOSA, Pep Club, Sr. Beta Club, basketball cheer team and varsity volleyball team.

Her future plans are to attend the University of Mississippi and get a degree in the medical field.

She is escorted by Gibson Booker.  He is a sophomore at Dexter High School and is the son of Mark and Kristi Booker.

He is a member of the basketball team and baseball team as well as Sr. Beta Club and Student Council.

Gibson describes Avery as pretty, funny, and bossy.

DHS 2025 Winter Homecoming Queen Candidate Featuring Emma Pennington

Dexter High School 2025 Winter Homecoming Queen Coronation was held on Friday, February 7, 2025 at the Bearcat Event Center.  The Dexter boys basketball team took on the Advance Hornets and captured the win.

Emma Pennington was nominated by the basketball cheerleaders and is a senior at Dexter High School.

She is the daughter of Bryan Pennington and Lindsay Holden.

While attending high school, Emma has been a 4-year member of the Track & Field Team and the Basketball Cheer Team.  She is also a member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, FCCLA, National Honor Society, and Sr. Beta Club.  Emma services as the fall Pep Club captain and Student Council Treasurer.

Her future plans are to attend the University of Missouri - Columbia and major in Special Education.

She is escorted by Will Guethle.  He is a sophomore at DHS and the son of Shawn and Nicole Guethle.

He is a member of the football team, basketball team, and golf team.  He is also active in Student Council, Sr. Beta Club and Fellowship of Christian Athletes.

When asked to describe Emma in three word, Will said she is "full of life"
